New Sushi Restaurant in Georgetown!
Submitted by sushilover on Sun, 2007-06-03 07:36.I met some friends at the Vino100 at the Wolf Ranch Town Center in Georgetown for a wine tasting and were turned on to a new sushi restaurant next door called Hayashi. The place is beautiful, the lounge music is awesome, the staff were very attentive, and the FOOD was unbelievable! For those sushi lovers like myself, you really need to check this new venue out!! I have several favorite restaurants but this was wonderful.

Yes, that's right
Why Georgetown
i thought the sushi was great but i don't know if GT is ready for a sushi restaurant like this. Hayashi in my view belongs in downtown Austin were many more people can afford it. i am not saying they are not good, just location could be better. good luck Hayashi.
well..
hmm
well..
im sure georgetowns avg household income is comparable to round rock which is 65,000. im sure people in george town deserve a nice sushi place.. i just dont think they have a huge fanbase in GT.. but thats what great sushi places are for. i think a good sushi place is supposed to take peoples curiousity and turn it into a true love and appreciation for the art.. i would never give a first timer lame sushi because that would only ruin the whole expierience wouldnt it..
i think eatin sushi for the first time is like takin magic mushrooms for the first time.. never go at it alone, always have an expert, and make sure its good stuff.. or the whole expierence will leave you confused dissapointed and very doubtful about a second run... :)
Among the BEST
I live in GT and was thrilled when Hayashi opened. I have been in at least once a week since then and have had some fantastic, original sashimi (I don't do rice). I have taken friends and family and ALL agreed that this is one special restaurant. Family from Barton Creek kept saying that they needed a sushi restaurant this good in her part of town.
Fresh and delish!!
