Sushi Bar Locator

i live right down the street from maru and had been awaiting their grand opening.. i finally had the chance to try it and am happy to say that the food was very good and reasonably priced.. however, the wait was way too long.. i understand that they are newly opened (although not that new by now) and that it was a friday night (7pm), but an hour and ten minutes really is way too long to wait for three sushi rolls.. other tables that got there after us were receiving some rolls, except for us.. the worst part was- it took them atleast forty-five minutes (to be kind) to tell us that they were out of mussels and to bring us our seaweed salad.. i have been to many other sushi bars that have been busier and still did not have to wait this long.. however, the waiter did bring us some complimentary house salads (small bowl of lettuce w/ dressing).. it really did not make up for the long wait.. i wish they could have atleast brought out one roll at a time or something.. it was disappointing to see others (who came in later) receive their food before us.. i was conflicted, though, because the food was very good.. i know that i will go back to maru, but not on a weekend night.
